Well, Well, Well….I ain’t gonna blame you if you thought this wuz yet another “ode” to friendship…. {After all, it’s friendship day today!!!! :-P}

But, hey!!Friendship isn’t about a “wordy documentation”, is it??

And, “so much” has been said by “so many” of them that anything that I express here would sound clichéd :-P…

The PoinT::
It has been a little more than month in Bangalore and I’m the proud owner of ….…………….. (Wait for It………….)
………………………….
………………………….
……………………………..
…………………………….
……………………………..
all my monthly bills!!!!!

It’s the bitter sweet feeling of skimming through mail(s) bearing your name in full; raising the collar while opening them, with the expression which reads ” ahem! I’m important! It’s addressed to ME”! ; to the “Awwh Nooo!!” moment when you see the final tab and quickly check your balance in the salary account to gauge your financial status (and requesting your roomie to check hers, too for……….. you know what !!! :-P)…

Bills, apart, (:-p) Bangalore has been “fun-Galore”; the first 3 absolutely fantabulous weeks at the “Lemon Tree” hotel with clean linens, cleaner bathrooms and not to forget, the complimentary breakfast !!! (Well, in case you are wondering as to what is so special about all these things, I might want to extend an invitation to my house!! 😛 )….

And then of course, “the constant smile” that you put on your face in the name of networking; and in the process, ended up making some good friends……

Well, life isn’t always fair, but, it’s still great

Being a “Professional” is sure different from what I’ve always been (Do Not read that as unprofessional, please :-P)…

Corporate world is that unchartered territory where things aren’t all that simple and straight-forward…There are times when you yearn for those “idle moments” when eating, sleeping, reading the morning paper (or a good novel) at your own pace and having a one-to-one conversation with people who cared for you were your priorities…. But, such moments of contemplations are ephemeral and your conscience quickly drags you to the reality by asking you this:

“But, didn’t you say that those idle times were boring, a month back???!! :-p”

    Yeah I admit it. This corporate professional thingy is totally different. Same as you, I do feel the need for solitude and space but maybe I guess it is too much to ask for. Can't help. Nevertheless In this stage, you just have to like what you do, else you'll have no place to return or seek solace from 😛 😀
